Wholesale Terms

Please take the time to carefully review the following information concerning our Wholesale Terms prior to applying. It outlines our policies and expectations for all wholesale vendors, ensuring clarity and understanding of our practices.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • How to Order: To apply, click the 'Apply Now' button below, fill out the form, and provide details about your business. Please ensure you include your EIN and Sales & Use Tax ID as part of the application requirements.
  • Review and Screening: Please allow 3 to 5 business days for your application to be reviewed. We will reach out to you once we’ve verified your information.

ELIGIBILITY

In order to join our Wholesale Program, the following eligibility requirements must be met:

  • Must be a valid United States-based business with appropriate selling credentials, as determined through the wholesale application
  • Owner and operator must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Owner and operator must be a resident of the United States
  • Must have a physical business location.

ORDERING PROCESS

  • All orders must be placed online through our wholesale portal.

MINIMUMS

  • The minimum order is $200.

PRICING

  • MSRP: Kayterra products must be sold at the minimum recommended retail price (as notified to you by Kayterra) unless the products are advertised as being “on sale” or the equivalent. 

PAYMENTS

  • Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Paypal
  • Payment Deadline: Full payment is due at time of order confirmation. We do not provide credit terms or "Net payments" such as Net 60 or Net 90.

AUTHORIZED SALES

  • Distribution Restrictions: Wholesale partners are expressly prohibited from retailing our products on third-party websites including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Etsy. Violations of this policy will result in the forfeiture of wholesale status. The sale of our products on your own store website is only permissible if you operate a physical brick-and-mortar store. Online-only stores are not authorized to sell our products.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

  • Order fulfillment may take up to 1-2 weeks, contingent on stock levels. Therefore, we request all wholesale clients to plan accordingly. If all products in your order are readily available, you can expect delivery within 2 weeks, unless expedited shipping is chosen.

    SHIPPING

    We are committed to delivering a seamless and reliable shipping experience for our wholesale partners. Please review the following shipping policy:

    • Shipping Costs: Wholesale partners are responsible for all shipping costs.
    • Shipping Methods: We use USPS as our preferred shipping partner. We do not allow drop offs, pickup or site visits.
    • Order Tracking: A tracking # will be provided to monitor the status and location of your shipment(s).
    • International Shipping: We do not provide international shipping at this time.
    • Lost Shipments: While we meticulously prepare our items for shipping to ensure their safe arrival, once the shipment is marked as delivered, any concerns regarding lost packages should be directed to USPS for resolution.
    • Damaged Shipments: In the event that your items arrive damaged or with signs of tampering, please promptly reach out to us: hello@kayterra.com within 24 hours of receiving your order with photos of the damaged goods. Please keep ALL original packaging materials (such as the box, packing paper, etc.), along with your order invoice and the damaged item(s). Failure to notify us within this 24-hour timeframe may result in the inability to process a claim. 

    RETURNS/EXCHANGES

    To facilitate returns and exchanges, we have established the following policy:

    •  Eligibility: Returns or exchanges are only accepted for damaged or defective products, incorrect shipments, or quality issues. Wholesale partners must notify us of any discrepancies within 24 hours of receiving the order.
    • Claims: To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at hello@kayterra.com to report the issue. Your must provide your order number, details of the problem and photographic evidence.
    • Return Shipping: Wholesale partners are responsible for return shipping costs.
    • Condition of Returned Items: Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the products do not meet these criteria.
      • Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the order.
      • Refunds/Exchanges: Upon receipt of the returned items, we will inspect them and process either a refund or exchange. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Exchanges will be shipped out promptly, subject to availability.

      BRANDING/MARKETING

      Your retail store is required to adhere to the high standards of the Kayterra brand, ensuring that it preserves and enhances the distinctive image we are committed to maintaining for our wholesale family.
      • Logo: Our logo is a key element of our brand identity. Only use the official logo provided by Kayterra in your promotional materials, signage, and digital assets.
      • Product Packaging: Preserve the integrity of our product packaging by refraining from making any alterations or additions to the original design.
      • Visual Identity: Adhere to our brand's visual guidelines regarding colors, fonts and imagery in all marketing materials and displays. Maintain a cohesive visual identity that reflects the quality and aesthetic of our brand.

        DISPLAY

        We understand the significance of effective product display in retail environments. To ensure our brand is represented in the best possible light, we have developed the following wholesale display policy:

        • Cleanliness and Maintenance: It is your responsibility to store and display products in a clean, climate-controlled, dry environment away from excessive heat, sunlight and humidity. Natural products should NEVER be displayed in direct sunlight, as this can degrade their quality. Failure to maintain a clean display and products can result in your wholesale account being terminated. 
        • Visual Merchandising: Products should be arranged and presented in a visually appealing manner that attracts customers' attention and enhances their shopping experience.
        • Promotional Materials: Any promotional materials or signage provided by our company should be prominently displayed alongside our products to communicate key messages and promotions effectively.
